About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between Attune ("we," "us," or "our") and any person ("you" or "client") who purchases or inquires about our travel design services. By engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Our services
Attune is a travel design company specializing in bespoke experiences in Portugal. Our services include:
Custom itinerary planning — We research, curate, and design personalized travel itineraries based on your preferences, travel dates, budget, and interests.
Itinerary review — We review existing itineraries you have planned and provide detailed recommendations, corrections, and enhancements.
We are a consultancy and planning service. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a separate agreement, Attune does not make bookings, purchase tickets, reserve accommodations, or arrange transportation on your behalf. All reservations remain your responsibility.
Bookings & payment
To engage our services, you must complete our intake form and confirm the scope of work in writing (email is sufficient). A service is considered confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment terms, pricing, and accepted methods will be provided at the time of engagement. All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future engagements; any price changes will not affect confirmed orders.
Cancellations & refunds
Please read this section carefully before purchasing.
Because our services involve significant research and creative work that begins shortly after booking, the following policy applies:
Cancellation before work has begun: You are entitled to a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of payment and before we have commenced work on your itinerary.
Cancellation after work has begun: No refund will be issued once research or planning work has started. You will receive all work completed up to the point of cancellation.
Revisions: Each service package includes a defined number of revision rounds as communicated at booking. Additional revision requests beyond this scope may incur extra charges.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our official email address. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days.
Delivery & timelines
Estimated delivery timelines are provided at the time of booking and are given in good faith. Delays caused by incomplete or late information from the client, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances do not constitute a breach of these Terms. We will notify you of any significant delays as soon as reasonably possible.
Deliverables are sent digitally via email or a shared document link unless otherwise agreed.
Your responsibilities
To enable us to provide the best possible service, you agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and timely information about your travel preferences, dates, party size, dietary requirements, accessibility needs, and budget.
Review deliverables promptly and communicate feedback within the timeframe agreed at booking.
Inform us of any changes to your travel dates or requirements that may affect the scope of work.
You understand that the quality of the itinerary is directly influenced by the accuracy of the information you provide. Attune is not liable for recommendations that prove unsuitable due to incomplete or inaccurate information supplied by you.
Disclaimer of liability
Attune provides travel planning advice and curated recommendations in good faith, based on information available at the time of creation. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or pricing of any third-party service, venue, restaurant, attraction, or accommodation mentioned in an itinerary.
We strongly recommend that all clients:
Purchase comprehensive travel insurance prior to departure, covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost luggage.
Verify visa and entry requirements for Portugal with the relevant embassy or consulate.
Confirm reservations and opening hours directly with third-party providers before travel.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Attune shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or reliance on our recommendations, including but not limited to losses resulting from changes in prices, closures, cancellations by third parties, or events beyond our control (force majeure).
Intellectual property
All itineraries, written content, and materials created by Attune are our intellectual property until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of full payment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the itinerary for your own travel. You may not resell, reproduce, distribute, or publish any Attune materials without our prior written consent.
Privacy
We collect personal information (such as your name, email address, travel preferences, and payment details) solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
If you are a consumer based in the United States and any provision of these Terms conflicts with applicable US consumer protection law, that provision shall be interpreted to comply with such law to the minimum extent necessary.
